    #### Ali Asalem is gone? I was at Al Jaber twice with our A-10's from the 75th FS. Our jets had to divert Ali Asalem because of a sand storm so a bunch of us had to pile into a couple of jeep cherokee's and head up to Ali Asalem. At the time, there wasn't anything there except for a runway. Strangest place I ever been. Place was basically deserted except for a few mess tents. I think at the time it was in the process of being built up. I'd like to see Jaber now. Last time I was there we had these "expendables" that had 4 people in each one. #### that was probably 1998 or so...remember like it was yesterday..

    Trucking along!

Not sure where I left off but have managed to route myself back over here to the east. Was having a great time in the west with sunny sky's, warm weather and stopping by the house couple of times. Then I saw a good paying load from Cali to VA. Big storm was fixing to hit Cali so... thought it's perfect time to leave.. ughh until today when that storm caught up to me:biggrin_25516: and rained on my parade all #### day! Manged to stay ahead of the freezing part of the storm that followed me all the way across TN I-40. Tomorrow will be heading north to Winchester VA for delivery. Hoping this storm will now pass over while on my 10 (might make this a 12 or 13hr break) and maybe the roads will have a chance to clear up before I get there. Will see..

After that, picked another load 2 miles from drop going to Garysburg NC.

Be safe! Have good one! And make money!

Yea it is pretty much gone still working on tearing down the rest of buildings left behind. The AF still operates out of there for the runway but Army is done operating from there for time being.

One word of advice for you buddy! Quit! Schneider is a horrible company! Don't mean to rain on your parade but you will not make any money there.

Jan 1st 2014 No pay on settlement because of system error. But I did get it onto my fuel card as advance pay and deposit it into my bank because it was a big check and I needed it!

All total for the month of Jan 2014.. take home pay was..$10373.42 give or take a few bucks.

Now! I don't do this every month obviously... had some of that income rolled over from December and It just happen to be a really good month for me! Plus we had 5 pay days that month..Just wanted to show the nay sayers what the potential is here! There are a lot of guys here that do a lot better than me I just do the best I can.
