Out of curiosity, why did you move to ShipEx?

I moved because my milage was up and down with the last company I worked for. I broke the numbers down, it comes out to 0.51 per mile when running 3,000 miles per week. I was at 0.44 at the last company. I have been on Salary before local position and herniated a disc in my neck, after surgery and bringing myself back with No Restrictions they terminated my employment. I had to start all over again. I just got tired of one week doing really well, then 2 weeks trying to get the flow back. It’s nice to get paid 365 days per year and know what I am bringing home. I could probably go somewhere else make more over the course of the year, but I like knowing exactly what my checks are. That is why i came over to ShipEX it has taken 98% of the stress out of the job, and I am treated very well. However I treat everyone else the same, so it’s not hard to get along with people.

Last company I was with switched from biweekly to weekly pay and it threw me way off financially because of the ups and downs. I was attracted to the salary type pay and I like that they have a broader running area.

I am not trying to recruit drivers, I am just telling of my experiences with this company. Everyone has a different experience with each and every company, there probably aren’t too many out there that have had exactly the same experience. I see a lot that have had similar experiences. As truckers we all have been lied to or mislead by recruiters. I was very sceptical of this company before I came here. It took 2 plane tickets and multiple decision changes to finally pull the trigger and take the chance. So far I haven’t regretted it.

Just saw Bumpers post. Does shipex not hire out of Las Vegas? Also, where do you park on hometime?

From what I have heard is they are not at this time, you can call them to see if that has changed. Also I park at my local truck stop in Davenport Ia off of I-80

    Upinsmoke Thanks this.

Darn good to be in 60 degree weather Ahhhhhh!!!! Anyways, i ran from Dallas to Ogden UT then back out to Oregon OH. This was Freseius delivery, then picked up in Oregon OH @ same place except had to go across the street for pick up and now on my way to Santa fe Springs California and then home for a few days. Yess!

Hope you all are having fun out there! Truck on!

Yeah i don't get that?? You're there between California and Utah. Guess they don't have enough freight into the area. Move back to Cali... lol
