When you drive off on Friday on your first load, as soon as you cross the state line out of Utah, you call in and get an EFS check express code number for a check for $920.00.

JoeyJunk, dwells40 and YMItrucking Thank this.

Yesterday grabbed a brand new empty trailer out of the yard. I saw the maintenance guy clean it out so figured that would be a nice trailer to take.

The load assignment said drop and hook but always grab a new trailer is just my thing if it's available and clean.

Pickup turns into a "live load". That's why I like getting new trailers.

22,000 lb heading to SC. Easy money!

It’s all over! Finally finished orientation. Was the last of theHuman Resources and Insurance paperwork. All done on a computer so it was pretty easy. Was able to inspect my truck,. It’s a 2017 Cascadia with 235,000 miles on it. Probably be turning it in by the end of June. It’s white of course. The one color i was hoping not to get. But i wont have it long enough to worry about.

Go to yard in the morning and setup the truck. Need some keys going to try and unload the upper bunk mattress before I leave. No load yet, get that in the morning too. Glad its over with.

    Congrats! Welcome aboard brother!

FYI if you get a load out of Ogden always call your DM before picking it up because sometimes it's already in the yard. Also, when going to the Ogden Fresenius, after you exit I 15 turn right, you will come to a stop sign, GPS wants you to turn right again. DON'T, Just go straight and Fersenius will be on the right side about 2 blocks.

Well it was not a great first day. Moved into my truck and went to plug in my cooler and found out that only the two dash 12 volt plugs had power. I said oh well and plugged my 110 converter into the wall plug and sure enough no power there either. Went to the shop and the inverter was dead. So yes I had to change trucks. So now I have to take everything over to a different truck. Actually it’s not so bad since I got a 2019 with 45000 on the clock. It’s skittles orange. Number 3408. After all was said and done I was the last one out the gate. But I’m on my way to Oregon Ohio and deliver on Monday.

    What an adventure already.

How did you take all your stuff with you? Did you fly, or drive? I would be interested in hearing more about the travel there.
    Thanks!
