I'm about 300 miles from delivery in Salt Lake city on this load i picked up in NJ. Appt time is set for 7am tomorrow. From what i understand they only accept you 15 minutes before appt time. Debating weather i want to go park there at customer or at our yard for the night. Will see what happens..

 

Decided to just hang out at the yard. Needed to get some things done here anyway. I will do my 10 and deliver first thing in morning. Made a special request this morning to my dispatcher. Last minute home break. Need to switch some things out of the truck and get some paperwork that came up last minute.

Got my next load going home to Socal.

 

Thanks, yeah that seems to make the most sense. Like the day off to get stuff done too

 

Okay. Delivering at 7 am this morning. Then my going home load pickup is at 18:00 hmmm. Long period of time between the drop and pickup. This happens here sometimes. Will just have to see if i can pick up that load early. If they have it ready. Will see what happens. Time now for some coffee, then get out of here.

 

Speaking of coffee! Few months ago i declared this little gem as required onboard truck equipment. Mini Keurig great for those uncivilized parking events where you can't get a hot cup of brew. Don't know why i didn't think of it sooner lol
