Running With Shipex

Me either. Pretty easy stuff here i think. Just do your job safely and your good to go.

 

So this is going to be one of those weeks where I run back to back, east to west and west to east. Dropped delivered last night in Springville UT. Now bobtailing (unusual) to the yard to pickup a load and start heading to PA. Gotta be there by 28th..Time to get a gettin! Good news is i will be out of hours when i get there. That will be a welcoming chance to chill for a minute.

Little bit of blowing snow, ice, wind and heavy traffic getting across Elk mountain WY last night. At times we were completely stopped due to trucks that spun out and stuck on the hill.
I Just took things slow, put the drive axle lock on and moved along.

Going back in time, the loaded trailer i was picking up needed repairs before I could leave. Apparently it had 3 tires blow out at same time according to previous driver. It caused damage to the slider pins and the self filling air system. 4 hours later that was fixed, scaled and down the road i go.

Needless to say I'm running a little behind schedule. This load was to tight for all that mess.
It will have to be rescheduled. Will see what happens.

 

Made it to delivery at noon today. They rescheduled it for 5am, ughhh. I'm out of hours anyway. Only have 3hr on my 70 so deliver in morning and wait to see what happens.
