Finally got let go to run through Wyoming late Monday afternoon. Some slick areas in the Rawlins but roads were fairly dry and clean all the way to state line. Once i got into Nebraska there was a little snow storm coming in hot! Roads were slick and snow was heavy. Ended up calling a night in Sidney NE.

This load don't deliver until Thursday morning so I'm still good. In IA now should be in Ohio tonight ready for delivery tomorrow..Yayyy.
Whew i need a break from this north I 80 saga.. i put in for a day off..:D

I been trying to get them to run me south since I started working here, I e delivered to Texas and hit Arkansas but that’s about it lol.

I’m trying to get back to the Tampa area. I’m not renewing my lease in April and miss warm weather.

That, and I’m tired of sweater covered muppets and need some beach in my life so it’s an easy decision to make lol

I hear ya. I live in southern California and for some reason they run me in the north all winter. Finally I said send me home. Even if it's just for a day or two. I'm putting a stop to their North running routines. Yeah im whining, but God mann give it a break already.

    I love running 80.
    Minimal traffic.
Running Memphis to little rock today was horrible.
Bumper to bumper traffic in both directions running at 70 mph..with freezing rain building up on the wind shield and mirrors.
Need 4 lanes to handle all this traffic.

    atruckr Thanks this.

It’s all about the rates. Everyone and their brother wants to run the sun belt during winter time. No one wants to run the arctic circle.

That’s cause they wanna pay the same for the arctic circle which comes with more inherent danger as the sunbelt.
