Good luck Chris!! It's almost time for you to get up and leave for the terminal (it's almost 0400!) I hope you take the laptop so you can keep us posted. Sounds like you had a nice last night, but bittersweet.

Thanks sammycat and yep, I've been up since 0330. Got the fresh ground coffee brewed (still gonna miss that...lol) and ready to go! I am going to bring the laptop. In the end it would drive me NUTS to "want" to post each day, talk with my new friends here, and then not be able to.

I can't wait to get out there and personally look forward to mountain driving, backing in tight spaces, goin to downtown New York, dealing with 4-wheelers, Qualcomm messages, mail-order brides from Kentucky and sleeping with one-eye open. I will bring my guitar though, to keep my sanity in check when I go solo. My 6-string is the only thing that hasn't either left me or asked me for money....

Just be careful when you guys finally do get out there cuz by then Chris will be the ''experienced'' driver BAAAAWAAAHHHAAAAAAA with a few months under his hat or belt or one eyed guitar!!
