Hey Everyone!
Just popping in quick for an update. My run from Sayerville to Stone Mountain GA went without a hitch (except these dim lights). Yesterday I spent the day at the GA terminal getting the truck lubed, new tires and the cruis control fixed. I was supposed to get a run this morning but looks like I'll be cooling my heals until around midninght to take a load to Denver.
Denver!! COOL!!!! I'm going WEST!!! LOL
So I bought a cheap 300 watt inverter and 60 minutes of pilot access time just so I could pop in and say hello to all of you. Well.....ok...not "entirerly" true....I also need to check my bank account balance....
So I have to bobtail back over to the terminal to see if they have time to polish my headlight lenses. They didn't have new ones but they do have the kits to polish them. Just didn't have time yesterday. But since they seem to running me mostly at night now, I REALLY need them done.
Like others have posted here, I run with the highs on all the time and never get flashed. In good weather it's not too bad but I really don't want to find out what it might be like in the rain at night....
Anyway, Just wanted to let you all know I'm having a blast and learning new things about all of this everyday.Blue Screen, Merlin1477024, difference-maker and 5 others Thank this. -
Poobah Thanks this.

Thanks for the suggestion about the I80 T/S as a home for a TTR gathering. ADMIN has started a pole to determine how many would be interested in attending. Cast your vote when you get a chance.
I'll catch up to later buddy. BTW, I could use my buffer and polish those lenses crystal clear. I'll make sure I throw it in the truck. -
Hey everyone!
I just talked to Chris and he wanted me to update that he lost his load to Colorado and now has a 'putz' run ( about 200 miles) scheduled for tomorrow 6am. He's hoping he can take drop it earlier and get another load. Otherwise another night in the terminal........
Chris said he was really looking forward to getting out west too!!!
He will post again when he can!chralb, Wedge, difference-maker and 1 other person Thank this. -
Next time I guess.sammycat Thanks this. -
Denver is the west?
NOT!
Still sad to hear Chralb lost all those mile and hope he gets them back.sammycat Thanks this. -
Hope all is well with you and your runs are making bux for you. I'd like to ask a favor...
When you get some free net time, could you (or anyone) fill me in a bit on (1)the pilot access card and (2) if the 300 watt inverter will run your laptop or what applications you have in mind for it.
You and ORG and the others are kind of my trailblazers and tutors.
Many thanks, and drive safely.

It's WEST of NJ or NY state!!
Yes he lost about 1400 miles!! That really bites!!! -
Glad to know everything is running okay except for those dim headlights. Hopefully they are prompt on getting those fixed! Not sure how much time I'm gonna have, but I'm gonna try to read through the prior posts on your thread and update my own.
Keep safe man, it was great talking with you the other day!
