    Yo Chris,

Enjoyin reading your posts man. Wish I would have kept a running log of my first few trips. Would be kool to look back now and see how far I have come. A little sidenote, an "experienced driver" would have def taken that load and would have been there before midnight on the 14th. Just saying..... Not trying to bust your balls, I know your new..... BTW, that speed limit in Cali is more of a joke than anything else. My truck will do 66 and that is what I run out there. I have had cops pass me on about every road down there and haven't been pulled over for speeding at all. I know these time restraints suck, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I was reading your post and couldn't figure out y you only did 566 miles for the day when you are strapped for time???? Even at 55 u can do over 600 miles in an 11 hour driving day. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions on how to make that book work for ya!! Hope you get that load off today and get another trip done so you can get another cross country run by the weekend. Good luck to ya.....

    Wedge Thanks this.

Hope he made it on time. He'd have to push it to run 600 miles in ten hours. I'll bet he was running hard in the wee hours of the morning.

    We'll find out soon enough.

I talked to Chris last night at 10 pm est. He was still working on his log. He hadn't even gotten to take a shower yet. He was going to try to get a little shut eye and then up ahower and out by 2am est. I haven't heard from him today. I sure hope he made it on time and safely. :biggrin_2557:

I'll let you all know if I hear anything from him. Sallie

I noticed that there is a ton of activity on the W/S threads lately. "The Adventures of Chris" is becoming desired reading (I'll have to buy stock in popcorn :biggrin_2559:).

Hey BIGMONEYTRUCKIN, did you ever make that run? I wonder if that's a live unload? He could run out of hours.:biggrin_2558:

Oh, in other news, 1000 views registered so far.

Wedge, I have made that run, but I dont have the info on where he is delivering so I don't really know what he will run into there. As for running of out hours........ join the BIGMONEYTRUCKIN log book class and never run out of hours!!! As for me, guess ill be collecting my 50 bucks for layover since ive been sitting in Billings now for 24 hours. I believe this is the first time in 9 months I have been able to collect for sitting still too long. Not something I ever wanna do again!!!!!!!!

    sammycat and Wedge Thank this.
