Sure there's chase the lot lizard... Might lead to wrestle the pimp, just make sure you avoid the pimp slap! Fight the urge to hit the all you can eat buffet! The ultimate endurance test of waiting in line for a shower... Plus the memory test of where the heck did I park the rig? I'm in rare form this morning folks!

808 is my truck too. did all the yard work on one day. Took a couple of trys, but got them all done OK.
As if we have something we need to prove to you?? Look brother, I've allowed you some latitude here on "my" thread but I know some of these guys very well now. Nobody here is effecting your "BS Meter" at all. Perhaps it's just still spiking from some of the "other" threads you visit? But I personally put in 3980 for a week and for a new guy to do that, it doesn't surprise me at all that some of the other fine, more experienced drivers here do even more and somewhat consistently. Heck, it's Monday and I'm 210 miles from the end of a 2200 mile run from LA to GA so unless old Betsy here gives up the ghost (she has been acting up a bit but that'll be in my update post), I see no reason why I can't have another great week. So please sir, either join in on the fun and stick to MY personal belief of "innocent until PROVEN guilty" and take us at our word, or... join a few of the "other" THOUSANDS of threads here that harp on nay-saying and disbelief. I think starting "your own thread" as you stated is a simply stellar idea. I say .... go for it! And forgive me if I may sound just a touch conceded here but, I honestly don't think you can derail this thread. It's become quite popular it seems (my Humble thanks and appreciation to ALL of you! ) and I trust it will go on just fine.
Was that you?? I cought that rig going by from the corner of my eye but too late to wave or flash the lights. Should of jumped on the CB and said hello. Where were you headed from/to Cage?
Very nicely put Chris!! It is the 'thread to be' as you can see from the page count!! Yup you made your mark on TTR!! Maybe you can start your run for TTR member of the Month now!!! LMAO!! Just messing with ya sweetie!!! Glad to hear you are starting another GOOD week! you deserve it!!
Hey Chris, Once you bump the dock here tomorrow, how are you set for hours? I have time in the afternoon to buy you that cup of coffee.
So the end of my run last night in Ranger TX was rather interesting. I made good time, had plenty of time left to get to my drop so I was looking forward to some good sleep and a nice early start out this morning. Well....LOL....it would seem old Betsy had other ideas.... When I parked she started an awful coughing and sputtering at idle. She ran good all day but man it was so bad I actually felt bed for her. As luck would have it, the Loves I choose to rest at in Ranger TX was right across the street from Eddy's Garage. So I called the shop and explained the symptoms. Kinda got run around a bit but finally they told me to hang out there until they opened this morning to have a new fuel filter installed. Well...LOL, I knew it wasn't the fuel filter as it was at "idle" it wouldn't run right. Step on the pedal and hold it at 1400 and it was smooth as could be. So if asking for MORE fuel didn't make it worse, it seemed logical it wasn't the filter. But stay I did. I could have left out at 4:00am EST but the shop didn't open until 8:00 MT...lol At least I did get some good sleep. Anyway, I shut here down about 6 hours before the shop opened and when I started it up, it was smooth as could be. So I called the shop again and informed them that it "seemed" OK and asked if I should run it or have them look it over. Run it they said...(big surprise there...LOL) Well once again she ran good on the road. Now I rolled all day so this last fuel stop in Toomsuba MS was the first time I stopped to let it idle. Well it was even worse and even died right at the pumps! I'm thinking....UT OH.......this line of truckers behind me isn't gonna be very happy if she won't start (which it's been having a hard time doing the past few days). I added some injector cleaner to the fill up, she did start after some spinning and coughing and off I went. I wanted to get some of that cleaner run through the system tonight. So I had about 1.75 hours of driving left and I found pilot here in Tuscaloosa AL and made a break for it. As I type she's purring like a kitten now. So with 216 miles left to go, a delivery that isn't due until 09/22 at 00:01, I'm in good shape. They'll likely take the load early as it's their terminal. I'll call in the morning to verify. I was freaking out as I thought I'd lost my cell phone at the Loves in Toomsuba ...... .....but I found it on the floor of the truck. The good Lord was watching out for me because I had it in the door handle and when I shut the door to fuel, it jumped out onto the floor...WHEW!!!! So, I'm gonna crash...Ummm.....cough...SLEEP now.... No crashing for me....LOL
