Well...you can go "hate them both" elswhere please. Sounds to me like you're probably the type who runs from a problem rather than try to solve it.

This is a good truck and she pulls like the devil man!! Comforatable and quiet and good on fuel. Yep, she's been road hard and put away wet but all she needs is some TLC and she runs just great! Not a bad looker either IMHO....LOL

Seriously, I have no idea who you are but thus far, you've added nothing postive to my humble little corner here. So, either shift gears or roll on please. Up to you .... :biggrin_25514:

Could have a tiny pinhole somewhere in a fuel line too. Anyway glad to see you rolling, that's what counts! Drive safe man and watch out for TX-DOT! Keep in eye on your tandems back there on those hot roads. Enjoy the scenery!

Thanks buddy I will. I'm traveling light with this furniture load at roughly 26,000. But I do check my tires often anyway. Even more with loads like that Clorox at 46,580....LOL

I will say that it seems "most" of the W/S trailers have decent rubber on them and they change them if you find em to be questionable.

I would say trying to possibly keep you from going broke driving a junk Volvo is pretty positive advice. We will cross our fingers that you have a good one.

When I first started driving, my second company ran Mack cabovers. Solid and dependable. My fuel gelled up because I left it on low idle and almsot froze to death and a driver gave me a ride from the rest area to a truckstop (no cell phones) in a Volvo. That was a nice truck. My company was even a Mack dealer the owner liked them so much. At one time the Volvo was the luxury road truck and the Mack was the solid work truck. Not anymore. The last four years I have not talked to as many people about them as I did the previous two or three after the emissions standards started that caused the initial problems with turbos but from reading the forums and blogs I see the same pattern of little nickel and dime problems causing people headaches and downtime.

Call me when you get to Houston. Depending on where you stop and if your here early enough I might just be drving by in a bobtail. You can buy me lunch. lol

In Baytown TX now. Rolled in about 2:30 am EST. Have a long wait for delivery and only about an hour of internet left. This "was" a Pilot but is now a Loves so I had to buy a few minutes again...:biggrin_25513:

I'm about 45 miles from my drop and it's due at 05:00 local time. Not much to report today. Ole Betsy is running good but the fuel level is still too low so I'm hoping to get a load or two that will get me to Hellena MT so I can have the shop there diagnose it, and do a few other things. We'll see...LOL

Hey Sweetie- Glad you hear Ol' Betsy is running better now! It does bite when you get held up cuz of break downs but that's part of trucking! Just be glad you have no had to call breakdown on a Sunday or Holiday........

    Okay Guys-Question?
Why do you all name your trucks girl names? I'm serious as I would like to know.
I have heard that becuz engines are temperamental-like women!

Because men sleep with woman not guys
Because cars/trucks don't always do what we say
Because their problems always become our problems
Because Cars/Trucks are sexy and it would be weird for a guy to say "Look at John he sure is sexy all polished up like that" :biggrin_2559:

No offense to woman, just answering your question......
