Same here Mike. It was a pleasure to meet and roll. Maybe next time we'll hit the same Wal Mart (second time around...LOL).....:biggrin_2559:

My unload in Houston went without a hitch this morning. Hanging at the Pilot on McCarty just outside town awaiting the almighty BEEP! A really Tight little place with trucks attempting parks from both directions...LOL

I got in fine but I have to be honest, sometimes the GREEN just drips off me brother [IMG]. Took a few pull ups and a few G.O.A.L.'s to do so....:biggrin_2556:

You're doing good, keep doing what you're doing. You'll get better every trip out.

I am starting to wonder why I refused to hire Chris, sticking to my 1 year of experience requirement. Keep up the good work. Maybe one day when he feels the need to be home every weekend he will run between IA and New England for me. I don't think I will get him 3900 miles very often, but I am guessing he isn't making .36/mi (starting pay) at W/S. If young drivers are looking for a way to succeed in the industry take notes...role with the punches, take the runs that are offered, don't spend more money than you make.

Thanks everyone! I'm truly humbled by all the kind words and thoughts. :biggrin_25514:

    AT...I will for sure man!

Mike, What can I say? You're a good teacher bro!

Thanks Chiompi but let's not make the pedistal "too" high. I'll get HURT when I fall off it....LOL Still learning each day and just tryinmg to stick with my plan of "easing" into it all.

    cpape... hehe....a year huh? LOL

I still can't wait to roll through your area to meet you and have that lunch we talked of. Should be fun! I'll call you when I get close to there for sure. Thank you for the vote of confidance. I'm getting better each run but still have a ways to go yet. Maybe 3 or 6 months?? LOL :biggrin_25525:

Well, I'm now in North Little Rock AR at my first fuel stop and place to bunk for the morning. Today was simply a GREAT day weather wise. I had the windows open almost the whole trip! Sunny, dry and about 78 all the way!

I know it depends on the person but for me, you can't beat this with a STICK!! :biggrin_25513:

I'm beginning to wonder what it is with these tiny Pilot Truck stops they keep sending me too?? :biggrin_2556: Once again I find myself in one where the only slot and approach is a blind side. Darn good thing I did better at that than a site side in school I guess :biggrin_2558:....LOL

Well, gotta grab some sleep. Want to get up early...errr...late...err early...oh whatever! and do some chores. The truck is running great (must be the cooler air) but it's drinking right from the tanks without being filtered. Not Good!! I hope I can get it looked at again in NC when I get there. We'll see.

    Good morning all ! :biggrin_2559:

If you are talking about the cat style filter that has the upside down clear bowl, the fuel level is low in the filter and goes up as it gets dirty. When the fuel hits the top of the paper it is time to replace. I'm thinking that when it runs over the top of the filter it might be going to bypass but not sure.
