Chris, I can see your dilema here. Family is very important and you need to take the opportunity to see them if at all possible. You don't want to regret it later. You have a great family here when your on the road but your REAL family should be the one you see right now. As you stated, you don't know when they will all be together again. It will surely be a tough decision but I know what I would do.
Take care and as always; safe travels and God Speed.

    Thanks DM.

I have a bunch of stuff to do today around here. I did laundry when I first got here but been here so long now, I have to do it again...LOL

I have everything else pretty much packed and ready to go. I'll get to Wal Mart later for some clothes I need and to restock my cooler with food and water.

I did not want to start a new thread for this small question and thought since most of you work for W&S that read this could help. How long did it take you to start out with W&S once you called the recruters and what is the process? Was it a long wait until you got you conformation about the "10-Day" class?

I can only speak for myself but I called them on August 10th and spoke with Roxi. She "penciled" me in for the 16th to start orientation. That's when I started.

Call Roxi for the process you ask about. You'll get the straight scoop form her as to what's involved. To make the whole process faster, be sure to have all your paperwork ready. A 10 year driver record, your proof of employment, all your ID's and references before you even start. I put all that together in PDF format so I could just email it all to Roxi. Quick and easy.
