    Hey Sweetie!
I hope you are doing okay since it's been a while since you posted. I am sure you are just racking up miles and sleeping!! Hope you are safe and staying well!!

BTW No word from ORG in 4 weeks.........despite you hooking up with him a while back. Odd to say the least.

Hey everyone. Well I don't have a lot of time here but I just had to post something...LOL

Last week was a grreat week for miles and I spent the weekend in Helena doing a restart and getting my turck fixed. Met some really nice drivers including Highway Preacher who showed me how to chain up the tires. It's a pain in the butt and I hope I can avoid it but at least I understand how it works now...LOL

I didn't get my truck worked on until Sunday afternoon. They have to put drivers under load and local drivers first. Makes sense. So Sunday morning I shot up to GM and picked up my load then went back to the shop and got my truck fixed...LOL

They fixed almost all the air leaks and it's much better now. I'll try to get back up there to have the rest done. Still have that God aweful squeal but it's not as bad now. I think it's the turbo personally.

Anyway, I'm in Fernley NV right now and headed to Sacramento CA in a few minutes. I'm trying to get them to take this delivery early as I don't want to sit here and babysit this load for another 8 hours.

I'm sorry for the long spans between posts folks but after my next check I'll get a card for my laptop so I can get online anywhere. That should help a lot and give me time to "elaoborate" more.

But I have to say I contnue to be amazed by this beautiful country we live in. Running 70 west over the rockies to Glenwood Springs CO had my jaw on the floor the whole way....LOL

There are SO MANY wonderful sights like that I've seen and sooner or later, I'll post a few pics.

At the risk of angering cagetrucker for posting something not relating to W/S...Chris you have talked about your music a couple times. What kind of stuff do you listen to? Or any of the rest of you for that matter? I am sure we will get a lot of country music lovers. I can't begin to list all my favorites, but I am working on a road trip song list.

Well if you don't want to speed then don't include Hollywood Nights (Bob Seger) or Sweet Blue Eyed Darlin' (Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder). For the section of my running tracks on the ipod I want to pick up the pace I use those. You can't help but speed up. BTW Rock, Bluegrass, Classic Country. Really everything except 'gangsta' crap - I mean rap :smt078

cpape... don't know if you like that kind of music but one of my favorite road songs is Gypsy Road (Cinderella). Great 80s hair band song.:biggrin_25520:

Hey Chralb, isn't going across 70 impressive?! Wait until you have a hazmat load and you can't go through the tunnel. They will route you way up and over the top of those babies! You will think you are on a goat trail! Usually snow up there in July! Also once you get just over the peaks and start heading down you will come to a little truck stop called Gay Johnsons, you can park there and just across the street is a state park where there is great fishing and if you are brave you can do a little swimming too. We used to take the dog over there swimming and have a barbeque from time to time. I gotta tell you it's really worth it when you get to see stuff like that! I really miss it! Glad to hear you got the chains figured out. I really hope you will never be in a situation where you have to use them. Just remember that if you have to chain up then you are going somewhere that is much worse than where you are now! Make sure to grab yourself a couple bags of kitty litter or ice melt. This could save you from potentially having to chain if you do get stuck. Another thing you can do to keep from chaining is to just lay the chains out in front of your tires and drive across them like a sort of bridge. When you get a chance get a couple little 4x4 blocks, this will really help to get chained up. Drive safe man!

I have a really wide taste in tunes buddy. Basically everything except rap! :biggrin_25523::biggrin_25523:. From classical to classic rock, country to jazz fusion, (Jean Luc Ponty is my favorite there), yep, pretty much anything.

It's pretty hard to pick a favorite "type" as it's a matter of my mood at the time.
