Hey Sweetie!
Just keeping your thread up towards the top!
Hope you are doing well and I am presuming you are busy or haven't gotten internet.
Stay Safe!!! xoxoxoxoxo -
I thought you liked him too, and I wanted you to listen to him, that's why I bought you the cd. Wanted to add to your country collection. Hope all is well ans L.A. didn't stress you out too much. I found a house in Myrtle Beach. Maybe by Christmas I might be there.

I do sweetie! And you have added to my country collection..... Thank You!
I was just acknowledging that he's your favorite.

So here I sit in FOGGY Eaton OH with a load that gets delivered in Morgantown WV on Monday morning...LOL Been trying to get hold of "someone" to see if I can take it there today. I picked it up in Commerce CA Tuesday night.
I have another load to pick up in Morgantown Monday going to GA and was hoping to drop this today, do a 34 hour down there and then grab the next one. OH well.....looks like I'll have to do a 34 here (not that I need to) and then run. Darn shame really as I'm so close to home (in the big picture) I wish I could go there and wait.
So I now know first hand what it's like to try and get in and out of LA in the morning and evening hours. NOT FUN!!! LOL As I passed a sign for Burbank, I couldn't help but remember a skit by Johnny Carson about LA traffic. He wasn't kidding...
..LOL
My load was to be there at 8:30. I left Gustine CA with an ETA of 7:00. I got there at 9:15....
Somehow I thought an HOUR and a HALF would be enough breathing room....LOL NOT! Took even longer to get back out to my next load. This one that I now have to sit on until Monday. I have to say it's a bit frustrating in that, with the last 4 loads, I've burnt up over 58 hours sitting & waiting to either pick up or deliver. Seems to me they could tighten things up a bit.
OH well, I have LOTS of time and a good Internet connection so it'll be fun to catch up with all of you here.

Where/what is SFS?
-
Santa fe Springs CA. One of our terminals is there.
-
I thought it was just on logbook exercise!

LOL...nope, it's a real place. Been there twice now. The shop is about 5 miles away in La Mirada. If you ever go there, DON'T bring a trailer!! it's WAY too tight for one. I had to fuel up there for this load I'm under and like a dummy, I hooked up an empty before going over there. I wanted to make sure I had an empty as they are few and far between at that terminal "most" times from what I've heard.
I'll never do that again...LOL I had to pull in blocking the entrance to fuel, and then back out into the street again. Lesson learned.
