Only 9 hours a day? I run hard and get as many miles as I can in then do a 34 when im low, I prefer to bust balls all week then take a day off to do laundry, relax, shop or whatever I might do. Sometimes I drive down to the last final minutes on my clock, pulled over last night in a picnic area with 3 minutes left to spare on my 14 but I got a load dropped and took a new load halfway.

I heard something about a law where every company has to go to the elogs soon?

They are discussing this based on the one 34 hour reset each week during a 168 hour time restriction under the new law in July.

I dont like the new HOS rules on the 34 and the break, I take a short break every few hours to get something to drink or stretch but I hate that now I will have to do 30 minutes consecutive and during a certain time to make it efficient, sometimes truck stops are full and I cant find a parking spot real quick so I might lose 10minutes trying to park if there even is a spot and then another 30 for the break, I like pulling to the front of the fuel island and running in and get back out. Guess I will be utilizing more rest areas daily. Good luck to us who need a fuel island and some jerk is doing his 30 there

    6/14 6:48 59:23
    6/15 5:48 57:41
    6/16 9:33 59:56
    6/17 5:12 57:25
    6/18 9:43 61:37

    tomorrow I get 8 hours back from 6/13 63:40 - 8:00 = 55:40 hours used of my 70

this is off my elogs so your minutes would be in 15 minute increments

No need for a desk jockey like me. Although I get to grab a wheel Saturday. I hope I can run legal. :)
