The trick is not to find loads going there but finding ones that pay enough to cover expences and a little profit. You are getting into specialized equipment ie: 244" or less WB and no spread axle. Be aware of frost laws. Things are slow in AK right now. When I was up last month I saw no Payne trucks, no Byers trucks, no Carlile trucks, a few rate cutting Fairchilds and two Lynden FBs. Mainly the only thing that comes out is empty trucks. Be aware and adjust your rates accordingly.

I'm at Anderson out of St Cloud MN and yes we go up to AK quiet a bit out of the Houston metro mainly.
