When you get stuck parked overnight in a small/rural town with no real truck stop nearby, what’s usually the biggest headache?

Not asking theoretically ... I 69mean the stuff that actually becomes annoying enough you’d pay someone local to help with it.

    Examples:

    • food options
    • laundry
    • rides into town
    • showers
    • supply runs
    • pharmacy pickups
    • parking safety
    • boredom/lack of places to go
    • waiting on repairs
    • getting stranded without basics
Trying to understand what services would actually be useful versus what sounds useful on paper. cont

For context I am a single mom in Palestine, TX which is somewhat rural but also has several main highways that intersect (Hwy 79 S / Hwy 69 S) and so there's a fair bit of truck traffic through our little town. There's only really two actual truck stops (Casey's & Gateway/Denny's) and it seems like every night there are truckers that I am assuming either have ran out their clock or don't want to pay for parking at the two truck stops in town and so they park on the side of the road near the Walmart warehouse on hwy 79, a little past the Walmart warehouse there is a new fairly large area for truck parking but there are actually ZERO facilities there, no bathrooms or anything within walking distance nearby. My thought is could I make a little extra cash and help out truckers who are stuck there for the night by making myself available. For safety I do carry and my 19 year old son also would accompany me on these runs if it ends up being a working model.

Images to show exactly where I see parked trucks a lot.

Are you by any chance bi-lingual? Knowing many languages?Honestly, I don't think this is something you want to get involved with. I understand your good intentions but save yourself a huge headache and scrap the whole idea.

I second the above -- find a better side hussle -- with better clientele.
