They're ALWAYS looking for drivers in St. Louis. I checked them out once because they had a STL/Claycomo dedicated lane. I saw their equipment at the terminal I would have worked out of and turned around a went home. Didn't even know about the lousy 62mph until after the fact...

Filled out an online application because they said they would hire drivers with less than a year OTR experience for runs that would put me home daily. 2 days later I get a call saying I've been approved for orientation and my medical exam and when can I show up? I said "slow down, I've got a lot of questions first" and set an appointment to meet with the recruiter the next time I was home. In the meantime, I find out that they contacted my current employer--obviously against my wishes--and I have to smooth THAT over. Then 2 days before my appointment I get another call saying, "never mind coming in, just got off a conference call and all the openings have been filled". I'm glad my current employer didn't make too big of a fuss about it.
Lonesome Thanks this. -
I ran the Ada, OK to Arlington, TX lane for a while for Rush.
They know the toll road in Oklahoma doesn't give recipts, won't remburse either, even when email promise to pay. Do extra things (rescue loads from broke down trucks), say they will pay extra. They do, AFTER they take it out of your check! Then if you catch it, they will put it back in, 3 weeks later, so your still not paid.
Recruit/orientation gave us medical insurance that was priced wrong because the plan hasn't been used in 3 years. The amount taken out of the check was 4x what we signed for.
Detenting pay...
The rules changed as fast as your followed them. I never got paid for wait time. Many, many things just lied to about.
Ricky, the one running things into the ground just, in MY opinion is just about as crooked as can be. -
