was no intent, plus, it’s a movie set(make believe) you think he’d know difference between a live round and a blank? I’d be checking takes to who filled the ‘bowl’ of quick grab ammo to see who put it there.. that was intentionally done, but I’m thinking the wrong one was shot while he was practicing.
Should ask who was the scene going to be against, and then why or who had a grudge against them.

This was a bad scene (no pun intended) all around.
A system of checks and balances failed in firearm safety.
At the same length the prosecution failed to provide evidence at the trial-including evidence that may cast reasonable doubt in a defendant’s guilt during the trial.
Judges can really get PO’d when stuff like that happens at trials that they preside over-and have had prosecution, lawyers and witnesses taken into custody for less!!
They’ve also had prosecutors and lawyers DISBARRED as well, effectively ending their legal careers!

As far as I’m concerned it all comes down to the one who’s finger is on the bang switch. That’s firearms safety 101.

A lowlife like Alec Baldwin has no business touching a firearm ever again.

actors are prohibited from checking props. Thats why there is a person to check it in between Armorer and actor. And that person in this case should be in prison too but plea bargined to make Armorer case easy conviction

The irony in all this is that anti gun folks say that guns kill people not the people with guns. Guess they are right. The bullet and the gun conspired together to set Baldwin up and failed.

And, why were there even live rounds anywhere near the movie set? Just extreme incompetence all the way around.

if it was real life I’d agree… but again, they’re playing.. kinda like cowboys and Indians until someone d handed the kid a real gun loaded instead of a BB gun.

Live rounds were banned from the set. As i believe is the norm since this happens on movie sets, from time ti time.

..... never did get a explanation of how live round ended up in that gun ..... she dosen't know supposedly , Baldwin doesn't know ( director and actor ) , this whole thing was just grossly mishandled from stat to finish.

The person that squeezed the trigger is guilty of murder. Period. The range of excuses is zero meters. I don't care how many hands the weapon passed through, you verify it's safed as soon as you take possession of a firearm. Baldwin got away with murder and ruined someones life in the process.
