Yes , but our dedicated trailers pay round trip . All of the loads out of our Owensboro terminal are dedicated . Some loads out of Calvert City are dedicated . If not we get $.40 a mile for deadhead .

That is yours.
I know here, the driver gets screwed on the deadhead for free.
I am quite satisfied with the funds I generate. However, with the price of fuel, it has become tighter than normal. -
I've seen the FSC for RV transport is not up to par and is for loaded miles only . I've seen several RV haulers run together then have a towbar on one truck .
-
That kind of towing is really hard on the vehicle being towed.
There is no doubt that you have a sour tone in your throat on this. However, maybe it was not your cup of tea.
My company has a very good program.
The old company, which you also worked at, is very good at screwing the driver. -
Its just like everything else in life, what works for some dos not work for others, I know some RV transporters that do pretty good, and others that hate it. as long as your happy with it that's whats matters right? as for me I cant see making a decent living doing it. but that's just me.

Different things work for different people . Things didn't work so well for you with a carrier . It all depends on connecting with the right people .
-
If your company hired in my area, I would consider looking into it.
I have a clean MVR and Clean CSA as well. -
What is the average line haul rate for RV's ??? I was visiting with a RV hauler out of Indiana at a truck stop a while back and he stated $1.20 per mile (I think, it was a couple months ago).
-
That's been the rate for years . That is loaded miles . You rarely get a return load . I believe the $1.20 includes the fuel surcharge .
-
A driver from horizon that I talked to in september (Indiana on i90 at a truck stop) claimed he was making $1.35-$1.55 pm and never got backhuals.
