I was wondering if anyone has ever picked up a load and took it to a train station and move it to its delivery by rail.
If a posted load needs to be moved from say like Baltimore to Atlanta and they got 4 shipments to go out, couldn't you take one or two of them to the train station from Baltimore and meet the train in Atlanta?

That is what is called Intermodal. Old concept. Market Transport, Portland, OR does just that.
