So I finally called the number I was given on the automated message. The lady told me it was 750/wk guaranteed but most drivers make more then that. Only 14 $/hr if you aren't moving the truck. .34/mile after the 750 wk guarantee. She ddidn't seem like she knew everything and a lot didn't make sense. I know down here employment plus is a temporary agency so I didn't know if they would let me go at any time. I only have 9months experience anyway and they wanted 1yr.

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

It's a "temp" agency. Ryder is their only customer. I'll be here 2 years in April. Haven't missed any work. We work steady. They aren't like Best drivers where you go somewhere different everyday.
-
I know down here employment plus has many different accounts outside of the trucking industry. Clerical, factory work, landscaping. . Etc. But if you work steady you work steady. I should probably just drive to the terminal and see what the drivers say.
-
You would have to go through security, nobody from EP will be there. If you are still working get the required experience. We get paid the same as Ryder. Just no credit union, 401K, and other bennies.
-
I see. Yeah I'm still working atm. Does ep transportation evolve into ryder position?
-
Not in Nashville. Princeton IN drivers have told me after 90 days they could get hired on. IMO Ryder pay and other things aren't attractive to me working there. If you switch accounts you generally lose you place in line to "bid" runs. I would look to Old Dominion or other LTL carriers for more pay.
-
I got offered a job in Yakima through a temp agency driving box truck $16/hr.
Any up to date info on the company, or any information from the north west?
Thanks -

Start next week with Ryder. I started all of the Pro-Tread videos this weekend. It seems like a great place to work and decent money.
-
I need to do some myself. I with less than 1 year? Chances are you are being hired where nobody wants to work for Ryder. Where are you located?
Are you being hired by Ryder or a staffing company?
I heard Ryder lost the VW account in Chattanooga at the end of this month. Very unstable hauling car parts!
