They'll send you a list of what to bring. I was set to start the 2nd in Ohio - however I was able to get a job related to my prior career and have decided not to take their position since this new offer pays considerably more than I can make driving.

Good luck and hope it goes well.

You do not get 1mpg for 1 mph drop in speed. My company reduced the top speed from 65 to 63 and are looking at about 1/4 mpg increase. After 36 years of driving I have learned that if you do not run up against the govenor all the time you will get better millage. Also if you use the cruise control, if your truck has it. you will get better millage and better pulling on hills.

Sketch, 1500 is the max and you have to let the shop install it in your truck.

    Srick773,
Keep us all posted, starting class in GA on Nov 10. How is the training going? Any trouble living two up in your trainers truck. By the way, what kind of truck does he have?

My trainer has a KW T-600. Not very good for two people but would be fine for one. We seem to be stuck on the same rought. We pick up a load in Columbusetting plet Ga. then go to Fennimore WI. Pick up a load there and back to Columbus Ga. then back to WI. We have been doing that for the last 2 weeks almost. Same rought gets tedious but getting plenty of miles. so no complaints there. Last week I drove about 70% of the time and I drove 2012 miles. That's not including my trainers miles. Mike, Cattanooga is not that far from the yard you sould have no problem with it. Till next time, I'm out.
