7.5 mpg week over week. Most drivers don't have a clue about how to do that... let alone at the weights we run. A day under 70,000 lbs is rare.

Hey thanks for all the help I will be coming to any company with full CDL not just a permit, I have pleny of time as I am on a part time course at AIT in Vegas so I test out the first week in july but want to get as many options as I can so I can make an informed choice of who I will go with

Generally speaking, drivers with 1 year of experience don't have a clue about how to drive for good fuel economy at that kind of speed. I was knocking back 8.1 this trip with 72k at 60 mph.

Those companies are 48 states carriers. A company like System Transport runs through Canada to Alaska & 48 states, so anyone with a record would have to let the company know they can't cross the border into Canada, so dispatch can plan for that.

Prime is subject to dispatch in Canada...

What do you mean if I have a record I can't get clearance to pass into canada?? That's not what I've been told they said because I have my sherriffs card it would be no problem getting my border crossing card

Canada is different, and you can't just stroll across that border. If you have a criminal record, you should contact a Canadian embassy before you're up on the border and denied entrance. Any misdemeanor or a felony is enough for their immigration service to deny you entry. A situation most people don't know about is that any DUI at any time in your life is considered a felony in Canada, and that is enough for them to turn you around. There is a process you can use to change your entrance status, but it involves a lot of paperwork and money.
