Doesn't matter to me, i wouldn't work for one of these mega carriers anyway. In my experience most smaller carriers value their people more (the larger the co the more likely you are just a #) and treat you better!!!

Being a number isn't new, but when you're working for someone who can't place value on your services because of that then you're selling yourself short!!! Not to mention your paycheck!!

 

WOW! I could say this and be held responsible including being banned or maybe given a notice by the Amins but let's see what he gets! I think this is generally belittlement and talking down to others, I'm not sure. I don't normally pay much attention to this guy, Plus he is normally not in the threads I am(Prime is gods gift to the world((NOT))!!

 

Back to the Ops questions, Try to stay away from the bottom feeders, most any medium size trucking company will take you, Did I read into it or see somewhere you have a Felony in your past? I'm not here to give you a hard time about that, I just think you should let every company you apply to know it right off the bat, If you get to Springmo and you didn't tell them about this you will be on the next bus back to LAS Plus I would suggest since you are in LV go with Watkins Shepard but if you go to Prime or anyone else, They normally will pay up to the amount of the bus towards your air ride, I personally refuse to ride on the Big Dog, The only ones that ride the bus can not ride any other way, I flew to Dallas and they reimbursed my air fare dollar for dollar I also flew to Atlanta and they paid me back the amount I was to use of their money to ride the bus there and it was within $20.00 so Fly to wherever you are going and then turn in your receipt and they will either pay the whole thing if it is less then the bus fare, or they will pay you up to the amount of the bus fare. Hang in there. Be Safe the first 2 years is the most important 2 years of your career, Be awake and alert!

 

I know a driver personally that had a bad experience with them.. The bottom line is no matter where you go it may ultimately be a dispatcher that decides whether you succeed or fail with a co!!! I've been doing it long enough to know that one persons nightmare is anothers paradise..

Hey! I also go to AIT in Las Vegas on the weekend course maybe I know you haha! I also test out the last week of June I believe. I'm looking at different companies as well.

 

That's funny. Because I work for prime, and when I call my fm I don't even give him my truck number. He knows who I am when I call....
