?'s on US EXPRESS

I am going to orientation at U S Express in a few days, a newbie right out of truck driving school, my Son is also going, we will be team driving when training is done. Can anyone give some honest advise about this company? Thanks and peace!

USX must have turned their trucks up 65 & 68 and as many have got in my way when I was in a 63 and 65 mph truck Now I have seen where companies will set the speedo to show the truck is running faster to make the driver think he has a fast truck

 

I thought maybe USX was doing that to us there at the end. No proof of course. The reason I suspected it was that all those construction zone mph signs were always low by a couple of mph.

 

Yea I have been in a lot of trucks like that speedo say 65 sign say 61 and that explained why I could go by a Ohio State Police running 65 and not get stopped

 

I know my 07 Volvo runs 66 by the GPS and mine says 65 on the dash...

 

My experience with U S Xpress has been great. Patience with Your Fleet Manager, just patience in general. You run Your runs, be on time, do things the way they want and its all good. Much like any job. A little jazz here and there, but for a large company, I personally would have to recommend giving this company a try. Do Your job, be a big Boy or Girl, make a living, its there if ya want it. Best Wishes.
