Speaking of logging, I remember if you got pulled over, and your log book was behind. DOT would just tell you to get your logs up to current, and let you go without any kind of citation. but CSA killed that

Sharon would look at log, then at you, then go smoke, then come back and ask " What the F is this?"

Naw. Got caught in the storm and had to backtrack today to get around closed roads. Decided not to wait it out. I deliver on Tuesday so I'll finish out my trip tomorrow.

I'm sure they'll find me something. I dont mind the short runs to get me to a better area. I made it through my first winter storm, nervous wreck at first, but I just took it slow and settled into it. Only got 500 miles in today for close to 10 hours of driving, but I'm glad i got to experience it!

You be safe too. I'm sure there will be more winter storms coming=)

This winter already, I ve been in -50 wind chill in Grand Forks, got caught in that Lake effect storm this past Wednesday. Thankfully, the states I ve been in does an excellent job on keeping roads clean. ND,WI, OH, PA, and NY have done the best jobs to date

Well, it looks like slow freight came out of nowhere. I ve kicked off my Watertown, SD and Rochester, MN load and been waiting for about 2 hrs. You know its bad when they can t find brokered loads to cover.

When my first load cancelled on Saturday, and I got the last load we had on Saturday, I knew I was already in trouble. And when I looked at the work assignment, It had an open window from today until Thursday to go 540 miles. Thankfully, both locations took my load off quick with no questions.

Now I m at the Rochester Walmart awaiting a load

Apparently my truck threw a code so bad that I have to be routed back to yard or else it will shut down the truck within the next 1500 miles. Yaaay me. I wished it would ve thrown the code while I was at the yard Friday afternoon.

Oh well. Hopefully they ll do a service on it too since I m only 5,000 miles away from service. No need in unnecessary downtime when I come to yard

    Bumper and LDYTRUCKER Thank this.
