The last time I trained which was over a year ago. The trainee had to do a minimum of 10, 500 miles. The program could ve changed since then. I know last time they had students be picked up in Grand Forks.JForce28 Thanks this.

Sorry that I haven t posted much, been pretty busy. After I delivered to Exeter, I went down to Exton, PA. Got there and was shocked, " oh your load is ready" usually its a few hours to load. I knew it was too good to be true, sure enough there were 2 loads, but mine did not pick up to Tuesday. Oh well, layover pay and detention. I ended up doing a restart there since I ve waited 26 hrs there.
I m sitting in Stamart now since I only had about 20 minutes left and I knew I wouldn t make it to the rest area or Hillsboro in 20 minutes.
Tomorrow, I unload at the yard, and back down to Fargo, and out to Escondido, CA for Monday.
Its kind of shocking to see both the 22 T680s and Cascadias coming in at the same time. Last few years they did not come in until late March mid April.
Whenever you are in Anniston terminal, let me know, and if I m at home, I will come to the yard to meet you. I m only 15-20 minutes from the yard. Most people pass through my hometown enroute to AnnistonSnow Hater, hotrod1653, RampageGNS and 1 other person Thank this. -
We do go to Saskatchewan, not as often as Manitoba. Its usually like the farm machinery stuff that goes thereJForce28 and RampageGNS Thank this.

Its mostly like the Macdon and Buehler stuff that goes therehotrod1653 and JForce28 Thank this.

What about driver facing cameras?Snow Hater Thanks this.
-
When you re in training, you have driver facing cameras. Its to make sure you don t have any bad habits while driving. Otherwise, its a piece of black tape over the driver facing camera as long as you don t have many critical events through the camera.
Critical events are like rolling through a stop sign, speeding, running red lights, following distance etcJForce28 Thanks this. -
From the people you know, and obviously Hot Rod from personal experience if you see this, is there plenty of miles for the regional drivers? Obviously shorter runs but with having bare minimum a reset every 5-6 days I’d guess you would be running out your clock every day pretty much?
-
We have regional drivers here that are in the top 20 for monthly milesRampageGNS Thanks this.

thanks. I’m hoping I can head there once I’m back at work. Which will hopefully happen in mid March. If you get to Fargo let me know, I’ll come meet ya if’n you got time.bigkev1115 Thanks this.
