A0118420-F97B-43DC-ABCC-F1B9CC57FCD8.jpeg So my editing skills aren’t working today. Lol.
Anyways I’m in Little Chute, Wisconsin today unloading. Then off to reload for Pembina, ND and Winnipeg.

I’m pulling the Veterans trailer this trip, and I’ve gotten lots of thumbs up and waves from people. Especially from a group of riders here in Wisconsin.

I saw the Volvo when they brought in Friday. It looked ok, I’ll stick with my Freightliner lol.

Lonesome, 88 Alpha and RampageGNS Thank this.

After I delivered in Arlington. I headed to Sherman, TX to pick up some Sunny D. A quick 35 minutes to check in and get loaded. 43,000 lbs of juice heading to Tomah, WI. I scaled out in OK, and was shocked at 43,000 with a Great Dane reefer, only grossing 77,800 with a Volvo. In a Cascadia, I would ve been grossing 79,000 plus.

I made it just outside of Joplin, and shut down. Woke up the next morning and made it to Tomah at 1945 Tuesday. The appointment was for 1945 Wednesday. So I chanced it, went into Walmart a day early. The LP guy looked at me and said you re a day early. He made a call to receiving, 3 minutes later they took me a day early, and a hour and a half later, was empty and headed over to Kwik Trip.

I then deadheaded to Chicago to pick up a load going back to Grand Forks, since the Volvo had to be turned back in. Got to the yard, unloaded, turned in truck, talked to Matt the shop foreman about the Volvo. Looks like they may go ahead and add Volvos to the fleet.

I got back in my truck and drove to Fargo to load Friday morning heading to La Habra, Ca. I went and loaded 2 hours early, and now sitting a consignee waiting for receiving to open. I will post what happens next

The last time I unloaded at a Walmart DC a day early they charged my company $500.00. And that is why it was the last time I delivered a day early....lol

I m currently on California Intrastate dedicated it seems. After I delivered in La Habra, I went 7 miles to next stop in Buena Park. Talk about a very tight place to back, and to make matters worse it had to be done blind sided. Thankfully, I was able to blindside in an open space, and turn around to sight side back.

After I left Buena Park, I went to Livermore to unload. While I parked on the street to check in and wait for a dock assignment, here comes Livermore s finest, give me a $53 ticket for parking on the street. Ok, whatever.

After Livermore, I got sent to Hayward to load, now sitting in Santa Fe Springs waiting for my 0900 appt. Once I leave here, I go to Van Nuys, and pick up beer and back up to Lathrop for Friday appt. Then probably to Modesto or Napa then back to Grand Forks. I have had more than my fair share of California this week.

    Lonesome Thanks this.
