Always speculating……..For all we know the driver had a medical issue.

Prayers for families of lives lost and those injured.

Thank you to all first responders.

True dat, but really how many of these types of wrecks have we heard about that were medical as opposed to inattentive operation?

Okay, settle down, I feel your frustration, I have over 3 mil in a truck, and never ran into anything, so I know what I'm talking about. And not 3 mil down a freakin' interstate either. It's one of those things that apparently doesn't have an answer. It's a combination of things we never had years ago. These cushy rolling apartments with all the gee-gaws, with schedules that seem to promote inattentiveness, it is a different job than the old R model Mack I drove with a "I'll get there when I get there" attitude. By GOD, you had to pay attention, the trucks were downright dangerous to drive. Like you mention, there are far too many of these wrecks to be passed off as medical. It's like riding a bike, if you don't pay attention, unless a medical issue like in my case, you are going down. Unless something is done to control and stop these 80,000 pound missiles as a fail safe measure, it will continue, heck, we're just starting another" pileup" season. It's obvious, and scary that we can't rely on the driver. I say, make these yahoos pay for the damage they do, be an end to that pretty quick.
