I bet. And I may be a bit bias but if you ever get the chance to see Fenway, the history of the park itself is worth the trip.

    FlaSwampRat and JonJon78 Thank this.

Are you checking all these parks out while traveling OTR?

    FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

I sure am. Been to over half of them so far. 20 years ago it was strip clubs and casinos and now its baseball and national parks!

Wow that's awesome... Just park as close as possible and Uber it primarily?

A lot of stadiums actually have free truck lots but they fill up early and can be very difficult to get out of. The Uber or public transportation thing seems to work best. I'm in this biz for the travel and tourism. Always have been. If it weren't for all this picking up and dropping off freight nonsense I could really see some stuff!

Aside from Fenway, (where I've been going since I was a kid in the 7Os), Royals Stadium in Kansas City is beautiful. The old Three Rivers in Pittsburgh was pretty cool too. Now that I think about I actually did see the Cubs play the Pirates there in '97 (They won).

Strangest place to see a game is in Tampa. Very unusual design. Like a shopping mall with a baseball field where the fountain should be. I just missed my chance to see Coors Field today. If it had been a night game I'd be there right now!

    That's awesome man...

I said about 2 years ago I was going to start going to games and make something of my time on the road... I've got the cash so that's not to issue... I guess I need to start putting forth the effort...

I love driving by KC when they have a night game you can basically see the entire inside... I'd imagine a uber from either the J or one of the casinos wouldnt be bad at all getting a ride over to a game.

It's worth every penny. I buy a cheap seat and migrate closer and closer as the game goes on if it's not a big crowd. This year I am going to try to catch college and pro football games as well. Hockey if possible.

We work hard and I'm not one to spend my 34s staring out the windshield at other trucks. Go see everything you can my friend. It makes all the BS worth it.

    Buc and JonJon78 Thank this.
