    I had to look up smith system first time i heard it... i was never taught these goofy trainning systems. I was just taught to drive.....

    It means what I said: look really really far down the road. It is meant to get people out of the habit of just looking at the road right in front of them. And has nothing to do with steering.

    Me too, running strictly north jersey and new england. Then I decided to get a good paying job and it was required. Twenty some bucks an hour to watch some videos? No brainer for me lol.

    My Dad drove for UPS for 30 yrs....30 yrs ago...& I picked it up by osmosis. Good stuff...& I agree "If in doubt, get out & look". Cheaper than a screw-up.
