Sage is a horrible choice for a truck driving school, it's a big rip off!!!

    Apply for a trucking company cdl school. You don't have to say anything about Sage because you weren't an employee.
    Stevens Transport is a good starter company; transportation, meals, lodging are provided.

    @Gene Sykes
    Jacksonville is a good location for refrigerated trucking.
    Even during a bad economy or recession, food & medicine has to keep moving on refrigerated trailers.
    That's the reason I listed Stevens Transport.

    The schools you listed seem to be good starter schools and companies to work for. Sage just happened to be a short drive from where I lived so it was conducive to my work schedule and location. They also convinced me that they provided night classes which I was adamant about attending, but once enrolled and after attending for the 2nd day, they shot that option down due to failing to have adequate range lighting at night and did not provide any further scheduling for me to attend any further classes that did not disrupt my morning work schedule.
    I'm going to give one of the schools mentioned a shot if they'll be willing to give me one, but for now I had to push any further training or schooling off as I've missed too many days at work already trying to be successful within Sages program before they abruptly dropped me with their only reason(s) being that they could not provide me with a schedule for attending class that worked for them. They have only 2 trainers there. One outside with class A students and one inside teaching Class A and B material at the same time. It was distracting and confusing learning both classes of vehicles and hard to separate the differences, as I never drove either Truck classes before. Thank you for your references.

    This one sometimes will pay for cdl school by starting you out working in the warehouse.

    I'd put the refrigerated companies over the flatbed company. Refrigerated is the way to go right now.
