Hey Mac I'm in that class, who are you? If you can not tell who I am, I feel sorry =P and to everyone else I have to agree that this is a great school to attend, I was skeptical at first due to something that a friend of mine had told me and after the second day in class (I decided to just give it a shot) I had no doubt in my mind that this school was a good choice, as Macc said, the instructors make it fun personally this is a plus I can't learn anything while being bored to death by text book examples thrown at me one after another.

We spoke Friday when I came in from the range. -
The driving is going well, upshifting and downshifting, plenty of narrow country roads, one lane bridges, and turning onto narrower roads and bridges. The downtown driving is the most challenging, and I am certain you all know the challenges.
The range work is fun. Backing into narrow lanes brings back memories of my equipment hauling days. I have a good handle on parallel parking, sight-side offset, blind-side offset, 90* alley dock, 45* alley dock, and serpentine backing.
Four more drives and then the State CDL Examiner on Saturday. -
Nice post
I just met with the people at sage in henderson (denver) Colorado. I'm currently in school for something totally different, and coming up on my last few months of GIBill benefits, having lost interest and really falling behind with the medical studies I have now, I decided to let this school go and get my CDL. I registered on this site years ago when I first got out of the military but I was engaged back then so ya know how that goes. Im single now, no kids, and open to travelling anywhere lol.
Will be keeping an eye on your post, Im still planning on finishing my current semester at this school and going to Sage starting in the new year. really interested in seeing who you end up working with and how you feel as far as comfort with transition from the school and being on the road.Rick_C Thanks this. -
Here's hoping your Sage experience is as educational and fulfilling as mine. -
I am off to go driving. Twelve more hours with an instuctor between now and noon Saturday, then a final drive with the State CDL Examiner.
So far, so good. -
Good Luck on your drive with the CDL Examiner!! I'm also on the final hours, having 4 more hours before the test.
-
And, good luck to you! -
Final CDL State Exam, completed and passed.
Total points deducted: 7
In-cab inspection, air brake test, straight line backing, offset and 90* alley dock; Points deducted: 0
Next, an early Monday morning visit to the DMV, making it all official.
Thank you Sage Technical - Caldwell, Idaho! -
