I have always said there are four stages to being a driver...
1. Learning the basics in the "school" environment.
2. Being with the trainer/Mentor getting the "beyond basics" basics.
3. Initial solo time.
4. Becoming the teacher in "beyond basics".
It will actually amaze some as to how much the "new trainer/Mentor" will learn as a teacher. The hardest part is figuring out how to say the exact same thing four or five different ways so the student will comprehend what the lesson is actually teaching. Just don't get frustrated when they don't understand...and another "blue shirt" casually walks up and says the same thing switching the word order and the students light went on!
Dick...I am sure you will do just fine...besides on the Wal Mart dedicated, you will obviously get plenty of backing/docking...which is the biggest part of training that is often left out or at least not given enough attention.scottied67 Thanks this. -

learning the qualcomm and backing are the items that probably arent given enough attention. if you cant learn how to operate the QC, you might as well not even bother driving.
