Since when is a hazmat endorsement required for a pee bottle?
I know you like yanking chains, but that's just going a bit far. Then again, it might have been fun to see who bit on that one.
The same goes for those little propane bottles for your camp stove. No hazmat required for it. It's not on the BOL, it's in limited quantity and it'snot 1,000 pounds. So, no hazmat endorsement required. (I actually had this discussion with an "experienced" driver who had eight years on the road.
Said i'd never do this......

Dick, it is the way you speak. The way it sounds to me is " If I can't go work for a Walmart account in MO, then I must do train." You are right in the fact I do not know you but I have read your post(s) on here. I truly hope it works out in the end.

dude.....its maxing out at $125....period. dont matter if you crank out 15 students who say...or 150.....you're only getting a max of $125.
-
starting to think you're just jealous, cause its the same line over and over. If its not being jealous, you've got a weed up your az about lease/ops. either way....time to grow up and come up with something new....
and its not lying. Have i driven the truck in a public roadway? And even if that IS the case....i drove the truck no more than a few hundred feet. You telling me i can't do that in less than 7 minutes? Anything less than 7 min. and you dont have to log it. So it takes me a couple minutes to get in the dock....takes another couple minutes to go from the dock back to where i parked. And according to the sensortrac info, my trucks position never moved. So AT MOST, i'll have spent 5 minutes time with the truck in motion.....thus.....u dont have to log it.
and i was doing that long before i was a L/O, hubba-bubba. so i guess now you'll say that "he had to lie when he was a company driver, cause he couldn't make it running for .15 cpm." -
the story i heard was a DOT bear did a level 1 on a driver (co. unknown) and first time this driver came thru the weigh station, he got caught with a trucker-bomb (pee bottle) which was just a soda bottle or something that was not a legal bottle for BIOHAZARD. The DOT bear told the driver he was getting a warning, but needed to be a container specifically manufactured to safely contain urine. He mentioned getting one at Cabela's or any 'outdoors' store. When he came back thru again, same DOT bear, did another level 1. Driver said he bought and was using a bottle specific for urine. then the DOT bear asked the driver for his license....noticed he wasnt hazmat certified...and issued him a nice little ticket.
now granted it is just a story i heard, but sure sounds reasonable. Urine is a biohazard. just like blood. regardless of amount present, its a biohazard. unlike hazmat cargo that has to be a certain quantity before you need the placards.
Same holds true in the airline biz. you can carry on 'x' amount of hair spray, lighter fluid, etc....but not anymore, or you have to leave it behind. -
Did the driver tell the Officer that he was holding additional biohazard in his bladder without hazmat endorsements? LOL I think you're right, it's just a story.outerspacehillbilly Thanks this.

So just to be clear, it is not per student?
Once you train one you do not qualify for any other student bonus until the 1st student works beyond the bonus payment time?
If so then from a bonus standpoint there would be no rush to pick-up a 2nd student since you are locked out of getting an addition bonus for them, -
Then it's not based on the $0.01cpm then, is it? Who told you this? I recall seeing settlements where multiple students listed were showing hubby getting paid so much per student. Are you sure it's not $125 max per student?
-
Did you know the Romans collected urine and taxed it? In the olden days people used it to sanitize and bleach their clothes? My GF was reading a historical fiction book about Valley Forge...........
Trucker rumor is Washington state finds a pee bottle you get fined.........outerspacehillbilly Thanks this. -
Dick...it's 125 per student...not max per year. The 1250 figure for 10 students staying on would be correct...but the way things work out...good luck getting all 10 to stay the required time.
Also, if the student moves to a dedicated fleet...the bonus is gone...never could get anyone to explain that one.scottied67 Thanks this.
