Point taken. I just wanted to explain what I feel a lot of us on here are looking for. BTW I appreciate all the help I have gotten from the forums in just the week I have been here. There is way more to trucking than I realized. No, I did not think it was just being a "steering wheel holder". I did not truly understand the hard and sometimes frustrating aspects of the job. I knew it was hard lonely work, but I thought it was freedom. I see that with technology and being under a companies thumb that there is not as much "freedom" as I once believed. Thank you all for your hard work and hopefully someday soon I will be welcomed into your great brotherhood. Be safe out there!

I don't think that most of us are tired of giving past experiences or helping any new driver. What I'm asking is to do the basic research before you come on here blind. The computer holds a vast amount of information but it's not the only source. We are telling drivers to get out and seek out some of the companies you might want to work for. Just don't limit the use of the computer to find out info look for other ways too. We can help with our past experience and pass on some of the problems we have had. We're just getting a little tired of seeing the same question asked when we spent time on the threads just before that one. Your right about the older experienced guys and gals passing along information just use it if you like but don't keep asking over and over the same question.
