You are obviously sleeping well in that bunk. The Sandman has been pouring it on. :D

But seriously, with the hot weather dirt roads can be hell for keeping the interior clean. That engine fan kicks in and you just about can't see to back up, because you are enveloped in a thick cloud of dust.

Check and see if you have any holes in the floors. I have an APU that has holes in the floor to feed the interior heater. I plugged them as best I could, but when I pop the lid on the bunk that central compartment with the heater is covered in dust. A crack in the bunk let's a whisper of dust under the mattress.

The APU has never worked. I will be taking it out, completely plugging those holes, and saving a few hundred pounds of dead weight (and add a side box on the frame where the APU is).

    Grubby and G13Tomcat Thank this.

i would get under the truck, and look for plugs that may be missing from the underneath of the truck. sometimes they fall out, sometimes they are removed for repairs, like wiring, or maybe the truck had a qualcomm and a mechanic removed it for the truck to be sold.

Has the truck ever been stuck in a flood or bought at a really good price?
