I had my phone interview today and it went good. Waiting for the call to do pre trip and road test. Is it plenty of work coming out of Texas? I'm looking to make closer to the 100k range. Any tips on how to max out my pay?

All the guys on here from Texas seem to be making 90-100k a year with no issues. After what I've seen posted over the past year on here, Texas is one of the better regions to work out of money wise.

Thanks for the response. That's kinda what I figured since it's such a big state and the surrounding states are a bit of a distance. Can't wait to get started.

Indeed. It's goonna come because I Know my work ethic, was just really trying to see it's more common than not that drivers are making that. I have 2 uncles that drive for different DCs out in Cali and in Denver and been with them for like 20 yrs. Most drivers on the thread seems to be happy with WM.

I'm not calling you out personally, but like @buckskin76 stated it is best to take your time, learn the system, do things correctly the way WM wants it done. And the money will follow. So what if you take a little extra time be cautious, and god forbid only barely make 80k your first year. It's better than being on track to make 100k, having incidents, violations, preventables, tearing up equipment and ruining safety& reputation..... And possibly getting shown the way out. The difference between 85k- 100k mostly goes to taxes anyways. Safety first good luck
