If you like to smoke, there are professions where that isn't a problem. One puff here and another there... It's not a good fit.

Not trying to be a hater. Not trying to put you down. But from where I stand and based on the opinions of others who have posted also,.. I think we share a common mindset when it comes to trucking and any kind of recreational activity to include alcohol. You just dont do it. Period.

This is my livelihood,.. my truck,.. my business,.. this is EVERYTHING to me. Dont get me wrong. I liked to toke up when I was younger. I would probably still smoke on my down time when home if it would not effect my livelihood. Reality is my priority is to survive and stay in business. Not get high or buzzed.

I never have any concerns when taking routine drug tests. Why?? Because I dont do anything to leave any doubts.

Your coming on here and posting about having problems due to drug related issues. These are professionals who take what they do very seriously. You are not the first to post here about this. If I had a dollar for each person who came here and did the infamous "Is my career over" or "I cant seem to find a job,.. because,...." And its always the same basic scenario. They did not act in a professional manner when performing their job.

So here you are. Hind sight is always 20/20.

Is this the end for you? I doubt it,.. if you are ambitious enough you will get back in the seat. The real question is,.. what have you learned from all of this?

Although I did stupid things when I was younger, every time I read one of these post I appreciate my ability to simply "get high" from a vintage tractor, motorcycle ride, or old truck. Never ever have I had to ask the question at the beginning of this thread, and I'm dang proud of it. Best of luck to you.....

Another troll post about smoking reefer. It's hard to take anyone serious who makes a bad choice risking a career then seems so flippant about the whole ordeal. Yeah probably the best thing to do is go buy your own truck/trailer, get your own authority, sounds like a great idea.
