I know this is an old thread but for anyone still searching this, here is what I did and where I found the module in a 2012 Prostar.
Behind the instrument cluster tied behind wiring. The number on the battery is ER10450-sart. The only place I could find it was online, the best price was $20. I saw one on E-bay for $55. Some places want $20 for shipping, I paid $8 for shipping from BBM Battery.
I bought a ER10450 battery for $4 at the same online store and cut the plastic wrapper on it to look just like the ER10450 that came out of the module. EASY!
The pointy + end goes in first. This is a AAA size battery but it is a 3.6v battery. The factory one says it is 750mah but the one I bought is 700mah, no big deal. I believe it is the same battery. It looks to me like the extra $16 is spent on the special wrapper job so it will work in the Navistar module.
