Sirius is definitely the better one for music...talk is coming along if you like conservative talk shows they have great ones on Patriot 144. The Wilkow show at noon EST is really good. The merger is rumored to have been approved...keep listening to Howard Stern for latest.

Supposedly we'll be able to pick and chose what programming we want from the two.

I didn't vote as I have only ever had Sirius, but I like it a lot. Could not tell you the last time I actually listened to FM radio.

Talk: XM has a better lineup, but I still prefer Sirius (maybe cause I am usually glued to the Road Dog (Sirius - 147) in the morning and nothing else. Gotta love Freewheelin' (10am to 1pm Central)
Music: It depends really, the classic rock station on Sirius is cool. But the country lacks a good "Modern Mix" type of station. New Country is almost exclusively NEW country, and Prime Country plays too much obscure country, same story for Outlaw Country. I would be happy if they added a station more like terrestrial stations to the lineup. Don't get me wrong, I love the new country station, but it can get old. The rest seem to have a very balanced lineup. I listen to all different kinds of music, so Sirius is the winner for me there too. -
I like Sirius better because it has the NFL games. My favorite music channel is the Shuffle, channel 12. It plays a little bit of everything and there are no stupid dj's talking over the music.

Which one carries baseball games? I live in the NE and will be on the road in a few months, but come March I want to be able to hear my Red Sox on the radio, no matter where I am at. I will be going OTR with whatever company I choose to hire on with.

Great thanks, but if they combine like it said ealier that might happen, I wonder if you can choose packages like baseball, football, NASCAR? I'm a NASCAR fan too, though listening to it on the radio is not the best, but at least I know what's going on. I've had to do it before. Like this year they had the All Star race on SPEED channel, and I don't get that channel. I would need to have to upgrade to digital cable, and don't want to pay the money for that. Regular does me just fine.
