i got sirius, my one trainer had XM and it didnt have the kinda music programing i like.

im a classic rock fan myself, and XM's 'top trax' station which is suppose to be classic rock hits... had one in a million song i actualy heard of. whereas Sirius ch15 classic rewind has all the best hits i like.

i also like nascar so yet another reason i got sirius. in car audio is neat:biggrin_25519:

    music selection is real good.

and if you dont want to shell out alot of money, i got the 'sirius ONE' receiver which was only $20.

Sirius of course. Howard Stern makes the day very enjoyable. He may not be for everyone but it makes my local driving job a lot of fun. Even though I am 43, I have the humor of a fifth grader. I like farting and dick jokes. My vote is for Howard and Sirius.

I have Sirius and love it. I love Hair Nation and like that they have a Greatful Dead Station. I Have the Replay reciever so I can pause rewind and it also tells me when one of my Favorits is on or the score update of my favorite team (Huskers). When they are playing.

I've had XM for about 2 years now. I get tired of music after a while, and switch over to the talk channels. They have a HUGE selection of talk, including ESPN radio. Channel 202 is great entertainment. It has explicit content, so if you do love the fart jokes etc, it would suit you. They also have the IndyCar series, NASCAR shows with Dale Jr., Jimmie Johnson, and Michael Waltrip every week. But, I've never had Sirius, so I couldn't argue their case.

From an article I read earlier this week, yes you'll be able to pick and chose.

I've owned them both and imho I think Sirius is the better of the two. XM reception cut out considerably more than Sirius especially in and around buildings and mountain areas, I rarely have a problem with Sirius and tbh I think the programming is better than XM. It'll be great when/if they finally merge.

I love my Sirius radio.... Roadog 147 in the mornings and Nascar in the afternoons... a great combination. I only wish they would bring back the Discovery Channel

Just got mine last week.Tried to listen to Sunday night football across Texas had to keep changing stations darn Mexican radio stations kept interfering on the game station next day stopped at loves spent 48 dollars for radio listen to Monday night football clear as a bell worth every penny don't leave home without it. Sirius has hardcore baseball channel no games but the baseball scores scroll across the screens and what inning they are in way cool.It keeps me connected to the sports world.I like the roadog channel too.I Wouldn't leave home without it.Later:iroc:

I voted for sirius, because their programming line ups are much better than XM. I have XM only cause I like to listen to Coast to coast am!
