Yep, ran for 3 years without one once! Some people need ac, the rest of us are MEN! :D I love my A/C, but I also have other priorities as well, and sometimes it just works to make do. Then you get used to it, and it becomes permanent.

Sure you're MEN, just not smart enough.

I hope I'll never have to stay in a truck with
    no A/C for days.

Relax man, I was joshin’. I ran my truck one summer with no A/C because the engine blew up, and I didn’t feel it was worth pulling a loan to fix it. Got used to it, and that trucks AC still doesn’t work! Other one does, and I definitely like it, but there is something a steering wheel holder does NOT understand about an O/O… we have other things to think about than inconsequential details. If I can buy another truck instead of having an AC working, guess what I’ll do? Another thing, there are all sorts of different terrain to drive in, would I run NYC with no AC? Not if I can help it! Interstate driving within a several hour radius of the farm, you bet. Not bad at all, unless you hit Chicago at rush hour…

How about Southeast in September, tough guy?
Like 98 and humid outside. I already know you'll enjoy it. It's all about the pride to be the big boss.

We all know a workin man and a bum measure success different. One ain’t gonna convince the other…..

In my opinion the owner operator here made a choice and rewarded himself. His truck his right sounds smart enough to not draw attention to himself and throw the can away no harm no foul.

Company sticks (even happy company sticks no pun intended) gotta gripe about something or correct him because well they are used to being told every move to make and must follow their company rules to the letter so should everyone else. Nothing wrong with that other than……..not everyone works for their company

Nope, not the pride of being Big Boss, it’s the fact that what I have, I know I worked for, and that’s a feeling of satisfaction a company grunt will never know. Priorities are different if you look ahead instead of just griping about the negatives “right now”.
