Not sure about this company anymore. I was there Lead Safety Specialist and Supervisor and I left. There's a lot of better company's out there. The benefits are good tho. The terminal I was at did not pay OT. I make a whole lot more money and now I'm just a driver.

They arent well thought of in utah. They underbid by a large amount, flood an area with trucks, overhire, pay less wages for the same company they replaced, ect.
Theyve gone the way of Barney Trucking here.

Knew someone who loaded fuel on trains in Belen NM, hourly pay, but nothing pays good in NM and that job reflects that. They advertise for Danville KY for 16 an hour, and it's quite physical..... no thanks

Bringing back this old post. Looks like they are hiring in the Corpus Christi area now. Does anyone know what the job consists of here and what the starting pay is typically like?

I've seen them pulling some brand new end-dump trailers recently, in addition to those big belly dumps they've had for a while. I believe they haul petroleum coke.

I've seen them going in and out of the Valero plant, off of Navigation back behind where the truck stop used to be, but I don't know if they're hauling in there or out of there.

Just found out from a buddy who works at Coastal Transport that Dupre lost the contract they originally had. Savage picked it up and gave those men an opportunity to work for them. Being so, all were encouraged to apply for them and all transferred over. I'm not sure what's to become of Dupre in the meantime.

Awhile back I heard that Dupre only had one contract left, so I guess they'll have to close that yard unless they can manage to pick up something else. I'm glad Savage offered the Dupre drivers jobs.
