I think this'll work:
R6101 Red Dot rooftop airconditioner unit
Just needs an engine driven compressor. Its about 45lbs so hopefully not too heavy for the roof. -
They also make units that go on the back wall under the window between the seats. Other brands I remember were Kysor and Frigoking.

@W900AOwner was just talking about something like this in his re power thread.
AModelCat Thanks this. -
I was just looking at that. Thanks @Tug Toy.
I kinda like the idea of the roof unit though because the heat quality in these W900A's suck and it gets cold up here. My logic is why not put a roof unit on there for the A/C and either run 2 heater cores stacked in the factory HVAC box or get a really fat custom heater core built.BoxCarKidd, Tug Toy and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
Wonder if these folks could help... Home - Vintage Air

I was going to custom build a new under dash console for the heater controls out of fibreglass. These old W9's don't have cup holders so that's something I'd like to integrate into it as well. I may look at something like Vintage Air's generic HVAC assembly and integrate that into a custom console under the dash. I'm still a little ways out from that at this point but I'd rather try and fit stuff like a roof A/C or rooftop condensor on an unfinished cab, rather than try and fit everything onto a painted cab at the end.

A lot to f construction equipment still uses add on AC. Might look in that direction?
