    Be sure to check your timing. If someone advanced it to far it will crack the tops as well.

    I'm going to put it back together at factory specs. Tweak it once its in the truck.

    I honestly thought this engine was converted to direct injection. Nope. Its still a prechamber engine.

    I don't blame you a bit. Everytime I build a pump, timing advance or an engine we start it bone stock. I fortunate and have a CAT timing meter so they all get set where I want them once warmed up. That A oughta be 24 degrees advanced when pin timed. Not telling you your business but that's plenty in my opinion.
