Well I haven't uncovered anything I didn't expect yet. I haven't cleaned the head up yet but first impressions are good. Don't see any obvious cracks. Head gasket wasn't blown either. Guess I know where all my blowby, poor starting and lack of power comes from now though.

Trying to get a photo of a photo posted. Cannot seem to post it.
Will freak you out if you see it i think.
Pretty sure that long ago i owned that truck.
It was my old logging truck way back. In my office i have a photo hanging on the wall of every truck every owned, except for the three new ones that is. Someday i need to get photos done of the new trucks to hang up as well.
I took a cellphone pic of the photo hanging on my wall.
Curious what the name was on the door before it was sprayed over by the rattle can.

Yup it was a logging truck. I believe the previous owner said he bought it out of Penticton. He hauled water with it until he parked it in 2004. It sat out in his back yard until I bought it in 2014.

If you happen to remember the VIN, send me a PM. I'd love to hear the history of the truck if it was indeed yours at one time.

Pm me your cellphone number and i can text you this pic.
I sold it so long ago i would have tossed the paper work long ago. It was a logging truck i bought from a logging company in kelowna. I used it as a logging truck around the shuswap and revy area for years. I traded it in to the kenworth dealer in kelowna on a newer truck and soon after wish i hadn't lol. That was a great truck.

She was hammered when I got it. It had so many band-aid fixes it was easier just to self destruct it lol. Once I get this engine back together its just a matter of fixing up the cab structure and I can start piecing the truck back together.

That makes me sad, i rebuilt her once from end to end and new paint to. The original paint job was very plain Jane. Have always regretted selling that old girl, and a few other trucks over the years. Some trucks i just regret buying to begin with. I can't be certain, but am 99% sure that is my old truck.
