Thinking I read you did not have room in front to add Air to Air? Going to go look at the old truck. But thinking there asking more then its worth the way its been chopped up. Has a gas inline 6 Chevy motor in it now.

If I do buy it, will be putting a 8.3 with 13 speed in it. Got to do lot of measuring to see if it will fit. As will need the Air to Air and AC stuff added also. Along with a 60" or so flat top sleeper.
Will also be looking at a 1994 Peterbilt 379 EXD hood tomorrow also. It has the 12.7 Detroit and 3.55 gears 24.5 LP rubber and a 10 speed OD. 2.5 million miles on the old Gal. But 100,000 on the motor DDEC4 so newer motor, trans and both rears were rebuilt 200,000 miles ago. New bearings, king pins, brakes drums, air cans, so more or less rebuilt.

ISC 8.3 is a lot smaller, physically, than my 14.6L Cat. Should have much more room to fit an air to air in there. Roof mounted A/C condensor would free up more space as well.

Thanks going to do lots of measuring tomorrow. And then figure out if I will buy it or not. I agree Condenser on the roof would free up room. But was also thinking about putting it under the sleeper. Then let air blow from above and behind the seats?
Will only be grossing at max 35,000 lbs so looking to at smaller motors around 350-400 HP Manual pump so there's no issues with hooking up Electronics.

May be going back next weekend and haul the old KW home. Will have to find all the Radiator stuff. Then motor, trans and drive shalt. Will have to make or find a headliner for it. As right now its just open. Also can't believe they used Fiberglass tops on a 1966? But did read online that was something they bragged about back then.

Good luck finding a headliner. A little research over at ATHS indicates that they are no longer in production. I'm going to have mine done in blue vinyl since my original was shot.

The guy has a 1972 that has trees growing up through the frame between the tandems. Thinking I'm going to try to get him to throw in the head liner out of it. Along with the Radiator for the 1966. They have the same hood and headliner looked to be the same also.
Would just buy the 72, but the hood is in bad shape and the frame is junk on it. Where the 66 is clean as you would want a truck to be. Doors need new seals and a few small items like that. Figure will have way to much $$ in it by the time its ready for the road. But man what a sweet puller it can be to pull our camper with. So rather then the Kodiak in the Pic, would be a 66 KW 2 tone paint job to match the camper.
